Sopivan kokoinen. Oikealinjainen pää joka riittävän urosmainen. Hyvä kaula ja selkälinja. Sopusuhtaisesti kulmautunut edestä ja takaa. Kokoon sopiva luusto ja runko, voisi olla hieman raajakkaampi. Erinomainen karva. Erinomainen liikkuja. Luonne saisi olla hieman vapaampi.
Good size. Head has correct lines and is male enough. Good neck and topline. Harmoniously angulated in front and back. Bone structure and body suits size, could be a bit more leggy. Excellent coat. Excellent mover. Could be a bit more outgoing.
Kahden näyttelyn viikonloppu aloitettiin Kerimäellä, jossa Topille tulokseksi KÄY EH-3, tuomarina oli Elena Ruskovaara. Tänään tuomaria häiritsi kaksi ylimääräistä etuhammasta sen verran paljon, että pudotti Topin laatuarvostelun ERI:stä EH:ksi. Tuomarilta saamamme suullisen palautteen mukaan Topi olisi luokkansa voittanut ja saanut SA:n ellei hän olisi niitä kahta pientä ylimääräistä hammasta huomannut. Huom. Fläteillä tämä ei ole virhe.Today was the first of two shows at this weekend. Topi got very good and was placed 3rd in working class. The judge was Elena Ruskovaara. The two extra upper front teeth that Topi has bothered the judge so much, that she dropped Topi’s quality from excellent to very good. According to what the judge said in the ring, Topi would have won his class and thus would have also received a CQ. Note: in flatcoats this is not a fault.

Tasapainois[et] kulmaukset. Liikkuu sujuvasti sivusta katsottuna, kinnerahdas takaa. Laadukas ja tyylikäs hampaistaan huolimatta.
Excellent type, good size and bone structure. Has 8 teeth in top front. Excellent head profile and expression. Enough neck. Well built rear part. Good quality in body with enough volume, good tail. Well balanced angulation. Moves well from the side, slightly cow hocked from rear. Good quality and stylish despite the teeth.
Näyttelyvuosi käynnistettiin Kajaanin KV -näyttelyllä. Perille päästiin läpi lumen ja tuiskun… Topille tulos KÄY ERI-3 ja erittäin mukava arvostelu. Tuomarina oli Gert Christensen (Tanska). Topin arvostelu löytyy omalta paikaltaan.We started the dog show year by attending Kajaani INT show. We made it there through snow and blizzard… Topi got excellent and placed third in working class. Yleisvaikutelma: Riistaintoinen koira, joka stressaantuu kokeen aikana. Kiinnostuu toisista koirista. Koe keskeytyy riistan käsittelyongelmiin.
General appearance: Game enthusiastic dog, who gets stressed during the test. Is interested in other dogs. Test is interrupted due to game handling problems.
Kootut selitykset: Pitihän se tälle kaudelle käydä AVOkin korkkaamassa kun siihen kerran tarjoutui mahdollisuus. Koe oli erinomaisen hyvä ja näytti kyllä hyvin missä Lukan kanssa mennään. Ensimmäistä kertaa Luka joutui oikeasti katselemaan kun joku toinenkin tekee töitä ja se selvästi häiristi niin markkeerauksissa kuin yleisessä käytöksessäkin. Vesiohjaus oli raskas ja ehdottomasti Lukan osaamisen äärirajoilla, mutta onneksi löytyi tarpeeksi luottoa ohjaajaan ja riista saatiin lopulta ylös. Vesiohjauksen raskaus ja toisen koiran työskentelyn seuraaminen stressasivat sen verran, että hakuruudusta kolmas lintu tuli pehmeni hieman Lukan pakatessa sitä suuhunsa. Koulutuksellisesti tuli kyllä varsin hyvä nolla ja tästä on hyvä jatkaa eteenpäin.
Excuses: Well, we just had to go and see what open class is like, just because we could. The test was quite good and really showed where we are with Luka. For the first time Luka really had to watch another dog working and it clearly bothered him during the marks and in his general behavior. The water blind required quite heavy guidance from Ramin and was clearly at the upper limits of Luka’s current abilities, but we made it. The hard work of the water blind and watching another dog working clearly stressed Luka so much that the third bird in the free search was slightly damages while Luka was packing it in his mouth during the return. Training wise it was a good failed test and we can easily continue on from here.
Päätimme kokeilla starttia avoimessa luokassa vielä tänä syksynä, joten ilman minkäänlaisia tulostavotteita suuntasimme kohti Mjösundia. Lukalle toisen koiran samanaikainen työskentely oli hieman stressaavaa, joten tulokseksi AVO0. Saimme paljon hyvää kokemusta ja koetoimitsijoilla oli varmasti hauskaa Lukan starttivuoron aikana ;)We decided to try the open class in a hunt test during this fall so without any expectations we headed towards Mjösund. This was the first time when other dog was working simultaneously with Luka in a hunt test and it stressed Luka out a bit. Therefore no prize this time. We got a lot of good experience and I bet that the hunt test personell had a fun time watching Luka ;)
